Just a couple

So I'm going on holiday tomorrow and I don't think I've ever brought as many clothes as I have for this trip! I think its also to do with the British weather improving.. we're all much cheerier and fancy a bit more colour in our lives!
I haven't provided many pics because all those clothes on the bed still have their crisp tags and are being saved to be worn when in Cayman! So this is a mini beauty-acs-clothes post just to keep things interesting and so i don't bore you all with a post on each subject..trust me there are many! I think thats why I've been absent lately because there has been just so much going on and I've been experimenting with too many new nail polishes.. embroidered kimonos and chasing that extremely hard to get White croc Whistles clutch bag!
Please stay tuned because its all to come when I get back:)

1- Illamasqua Eggshell nil polish  2-Jessica neon purple nail varnish, Jo Malone Lemon Tart limited edition and Chunky elephant necklace by Topshop  3-the holiday haul.. stay tuned  4-in love with yellow this summer..I'm blonde and pale but this seasons shades of lime yellow seem to suit me well  5- chunky silver threaded Topshop necklace

What are your favourite looks and colours of the summer?

''there may be bundles of it on the floor but you will still have long hair''

So, even though I've been hairdressing for 5 years now I still like to refresh my knowledge. It is so easy to fall into the same routine over and over again! To all fellow stylists- if your using that same sectioning pattern for every haircut/colour you do ... its time to refresh!! I'm guilty of this crime too! Don't get me wrong  Its good to stick with what you know will work well but if hairdressing legends never took those risks they wouldn't be where they are now!
Anyway, every six weeks or so my work pals and I have a creative training evening with JR, former - Eastern Stylist of the year and Avant Garde Finalist. I was lucky enough to work and be trained by this wonderful character and to get a front row seat insight to the way he creates.
My model was extremely easy going (which is always a help!) but her one wish was to keep her long hair! I  learnt so much from this little haircut and that you can really push the boundaries and end up with something exciting!- be daring and take a few risks. I wish blogging came with a 360 view because the texture had a real rock and roll feel once i was finished with it!
As technical as this haircut was it still has an editorial finish and is do-able for the client

Comment are welcome:)

Party parrot - coral bliss

I don't know about you girls.. And guys;) but I've become a serious lipstick addict! At the weekend I lost one of my lipsticks so I purchased it again yesterday! Along with another addition!
Both M.A.C lippys...

 - Coral Bliss is from the cremesheen range so it's really creamy and glossy on the lips. Being blonde and very pale I was a little apprehensive about wearing a lipstick with an orange tone but have been pleasantly surprised that this shade suits me! It's quite pale and not too vibrant.

-Party Parrot!! - what a shade ! From the matte range so it's very vivid, pink but with a tinge of coral. It's from M.A.C's New limited range so stock up while it's available! Loving this already, I know it's still cold and we're not feeling too summery yet but who said you can't brighten up a little in February?

Are there any shades you would recommend for S/S13? By M.A.C ? What other brands would you recommend?
Comment-Comment!
